Human study: Anthocyanin-rich blackcurrant extract reduces postprandial blood sugar

In a human study designed by Glaxosmithkline and Döhler, a  blackcurrant extract (BerryPharma®  by Iprona,Lana, Italy) was observed to significantly reduce early plasma glucose response as well as  reduce plasma insulin concentratons within the first 30mins after consumption.
